FAQ'sOrdering and Payment We request all payments are made at time of ordering. No orders can be despatched until full payment is received. As all items are handmade to order, delivery may take up to 3 weeks but is usually sooner. We will email you when your order has been posted so you will know when to expect delivery. (Please add one week for cheque payments.) However if you need an item urgently, please email us and we will do our best to meet your timescale. We accept payment by all major Debit/Credit cards, Paypal, crossed postal order or cheque (made payable to Lorraine Burns. We will begin creating your item after payment clears). If you choose to pay by Debit/Credit card, you will be redirected to our Paypal secure payment website. It is not necessary for you to have a paypal account to make payment, however if you wish to create one, you can do this by logging on to www.paypal.co.uk for details. (Please click the link to be redirected to Paypal website Delivery All jewellery will be supplied Gift Boxed. Bridal and Bridesmaid Jewellery will be supplied in a luxury gift box at no extra charge so your precious jewellery will last a lifetime. We send items by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and will require a signature. We are happy to send your purchase to an alternative address, (eg. a work address) however buyer does this at their own risk and the item must still be signed for. Please email us with details when you place your order. All items are supplied in a luxury wooden jewellery box with protective wrapping which will keep your jewellery in excellent condition for a lifetime. Everything is very well packaged to minimise risk of any damage. We are happy to post items abroad. Postage costs are listed below: Items within the UK - Recorded Delivery to be signed for = £2.50 Europe - £5.95 USA - £6.95 Australasia - £ 6.95 Asia - £8.95 (For multiple items, we only charge one postage fee.) FREE POSTAGE ON UK ORDERS ONLY OVER £100! Returns and Refunds We hope you love your jewellery, however in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please email us giving details within 7 DAYS of receipt. (We cannot enter into any correspondence after this 7 day period). We will then reply to your email and if you wish to return your purchase, this should be done within a further 7 days. We request that any returned items are done so with the original Gift Packaging etc fully intact. Buyer will be responsible for postage costs for returned items and this will be deducted from any refund. All refunds will be processed within 21 days. Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of earrings. Return of Bespoke/Custom Made Items We will accept returns of bespoke/custom made items provided you email us within 7 days of receipt of your purchase as above. Your payment will be refunded by the same method in which payment was received by us, less 30% of the original cost plus postage costs. We hope you will appreciate this is to cover our labour costs. Privacy and Data Protection We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1988 and we guarantee that any information provided to us will be kept strictly private at all times. Under no circumstances will we pass on your email address or any other information to a third party. All transactions are secure via our Paypal account. We will only send you emails if you subscribe to our mailing list, or if we have a query regarding your order. Please email us if you wish to be removed from the mailing list at any time.
